CES 2012: GreenZero

American electronics accessory manufacturer Bracketron has released a range of intelligent chargers at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 in Las Vegas.

GreenZone chargers reduce ‘vampire energy’ – the energy wasted by leaving electronic devices plugged in once they are charged. The issue costs US households $3 billion a year. The chargers can tell when a device is fully charged and automatically turn the power off, saving energy and money.

CES – the world’s largest consumer electronics show – runs until January 13 2012. Look out for Stylus’ coverage of the event, coming soon.
