Tea Pub to Launch in London

A new 'tea pub' will open in London

A London-based entrepreneur has recently reached his crowdfunding target of £180,000 ($281,000) on crowdsourcing site Crowdcube to launch a new 'tea pub' concept called Brew.

The pub will exclusively serve a selection of high-quality, loose-leaf teas during the day, and tea-infused cocktails such as Lapsang Old Fashioneds and Green Tea Martinis in the evening, as well as nibbles and cakes chosen to complement the brews on offer.

As alcohol consumption rates decline, tea is becoming an increasingly popular replacement within social settings. Forward-thinking brands are creating cold-pressed, sparkling and new leaf combinations to meet the demand for exciting and healthy drinks, while other establishments are devising tea-pairing menus.
