Going Kokoo in Cyprus

With umbrella handles protruding at right angles from the wall and a giant blue chicken that doubles as a shelving unit, Kokoo Boutique in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, might just be one of the most surreal store designs in Europe.

Designed by British creative collective SuperNova Studio, the space is a clever example of how design tactics based in surrealism can often make the most of awkward spaces.

A long, narrow space with a high ceiling, all these visual stimuli help to create a unified theme and direct attention towards products while cementing the fact that this is worth a visit for the VM inspiration if nothing else.
