London’s Pop-Up Mall

Shoreditch, London’s most dynamic creative quarter, is set play host to a new five year pop-up mall from August next year – offering an international mix of fashion brands, cafes and galleries.

Roger Wade, creator of fashion brand Boxfresh and brand consultancy Brands Inc, will run Boxpark in a derelict railway goods yard – signaling a temporary, but potentially galvanising, new lease of life to a long-deserted space. It will then be transformed into at major development of offices and retail space. Despite occupying a prime location on the corner of two of the busiest streets in Shoreditch, the site has been unused for over 40 years.

The ‘box shops’ will not include high-street names, maintaining the independent and boutique store ethos of the surrounding area.
