Brighten the Corners & Anish Kapoor: Zumtobel Annual Report

Austrian lighting company Zumtobel has bucked the trend of dull corporate literature by commissioning international design studio Brighten the Corners and British artist Anish Kapoor to create two colourful publications for its 2012 annual report.

Text-only facts and figures are discussed in one book, while the second features rainbow hues of colour bursting from the centre of the spreads to illustrate the company’s use of light. Commenting on the commission, Zumtobel’s chief executive Harald Sommerer said: "[Kapoor] has used this medium to illustrate the power of colour and its effects on the observer."
