Halloween Make-Up Tutorial

In the spirit of Halloween, one of our finds of the day is this user-friendly YouTube tutorial for skull make-up by beauty vlogger Katie Snooks. Taking viewers through the process step by step, the video was flagged up by top UK lifestyle blog The Londoner, and is one of the easiest to follow we’ve found.

Make-up tutorials have proved more prominent than ever this Halloween. Vlogger Emma Pickles has published a range of tutorials, from scary clowns and vampires to the more contemporary pop art look, while e-tailer Asos supplemented Halloween shopping features with ‘ghoul-torials’ for beauty and make-up.

Elsewhere, shopping and lifestyle site Refinery 29 championed pop art beauty inspired by American artist Roy Lichtenstein. And beauty blog Into the Gloss took a similar approach, drawing on the same artistic abandon seen on the Spring/Summer 2014 catwalks with an entire feature dedicated to painted faces.
