Nick Frank

German photographer and art director Nick Frank captures vibrant imagery of colour-blocked architecture in Munich. In his inspiring Mira photography series of the German city’s urban landscape, repetitive geometric structures and patterns are set against clear blue skies.

Similar to Berlin-based photographer Matthias Heiderich, Frank shoots within the constraints of a square format, using colour-filtered graphic compositions reminiscent of retro colour photographs and Polaroid images. See more use of this filtered colour in our Instagram Effects report.
