New Look Launches Rich Media

Extra

UK high street fashion retailer New Look is employing rich media to attract shoppers – launching a Kelly Brook cosmetics range using Blippar-enabled store and window displays.

By downloading the Blippar iPhone, iPad or Android app, consumers can scan Brook’s signature on the display to access unique content – including virtually trying on her range of nail varnish, having a picture taken with her and watching a video of her explaining how the range was developed.

The augmented display is the first of its kind on the UK high street, and is being rolled out to 700 New Look stores around Europe. It was installed first at New Look’s flagship store in London’s Marble Arch.

New Look head of multichannel content Natalie Pead says: “Marble Arch, Blippar and Kelly Brook are the perfect ingredients to showcase the New Look multi-channel vision, resulting in an innovative, unique shopping experience.”
