Avondale Heights Library & Learning Centre

Australian architecture firm H2o Architects has recently completed the brightly coloured Avondale Heights Library and Learning Centre in Melbourne.

Tapping into the creativity of the local community, each of the vibrant panels on the building’s exterior was chosen by a different group from the surrounding area, resulting in a vivid beacon for learning.

While the exterior combines many materials and colours, the interior space is largely white, encouraging a calm atmosphere for focused activities.
