DIY.org

DIY.org is a new social network that encourages children to create a portfolio of their homemade crafts and share their results with other children online.
The network allows children to upload and share their work using a simple iPhone app. It also lets parents set up accounts to follow their child’s activities online – ensuring that nothing inappropriate is being shared.
DIY.org was founded by US-based developers Isaiah Saxon, Daren Rabinovitch, Andrew Sliwinski and Zach Klein – co-founder of online video community Vimeo.
