Proenza Schouler’s Fantasy Modern Campaign

New York fashion label Proenza Schouler has revealed its latest advertising campaign for Autumn/Winter 2013-14. Its ready-to-wear looks are aligned with pixelated and digital images of birds, feathers and wings for an aesthetic akin to that laid out in our Fantasy Modern fashion concept for the season.

Featuring Russian model SashaPivovarova, the campaign was shot by British photographer David Sims, who used the distorted images of birds to emphasise the collection’s focus on movement, fluidity and softness. The campaign is accompanied by a short campaign video that features cosmic colours and imagery, glitch graphics and bird motifs for a fantastical look with a modern edge.

See our Fantasy Modern A/W 13-14 concept for more inspiration and design directions of a similar aesthetic. We also highlighted the Proenza Schouler A/W 13-14 collection as a highlight collection at New York Fashion Week earlier this year – see the full review here.
