Surreal Fashion: Elle Fanning for Bullett Magazine

Teenage Hollywood actress Elle Fanning’s recent shoot with US independent magazine Bullett was given a surreal spin with colourful arts and graphics layered onto the images for a beguiling aesthetic.

Shot by French visual artist Pierre Debusschere, the 14-year-old actress wore a selection of Autumn/Winter 2013 fashion by the likes of Christopher Kane, Jil Sander, Chanel and Proenza Schouler for the story. Combining art with fashion, both graphic and soft colourful lines were used to add drama and a sense of movement to the contemporary editorial that doesn’t pander to Fanning’s youth.

The editorial has been used as the cover for the winter 2012 issue of Bullett magazine, aptly titled The Surreal Issue, which is currently on newsstands.
