House of Rym

European design company House of Rym grew out of a love of ancient handcraft and contemporary design. Founders Rym Tounsi and Zied Youssef are passionate about their Tunisian heritage and wanted to share the country’s traditional products and crafts with a worldwide contemporary audience. Swedish designers Anna Buckland and Elisabeth Dunker make up the rest of the group.

House of Rym produces an interiors range including home textiles, handmade olive wood products and porcelain tableware. The porcelain range includes cups and saucers featuring patterns of both Tunisian and Scandinavian origin, and can be mixed and matched to create an eclectic collection.

Products are available online and in store at various outlets across the world, including Austria, the UK and South Korea. House of Rym will be showing at the Formex Autumn Fair interior design show in Stockholm this week (August 16-19), and in Frankfurt next week at consumer goods trade fair Tendence (August 24-28).
