Y-3 S/S 2013 Campaign by Pierre Debusschere

Japanese fashion brand Y-3’s campaign for Spring/Summer 2013 explores the theme of movement, distortion and transformation by drawing on the collection’s bold colours.

The images were shot by Belgian photographer Pierre Debusschere and distorted using visual effects to add a sense of kinetic energy. The models and their clothes appear blurred and semi-translucent between poses.

An accompanying campaign film, also directed by Debusschere, will be accessible as an interactive online interface on the Y-3 website. Users will be able to interact with the video content to create their own video clips through the manipulation of sound and image.
