Radisson Edwardian QR Codes

Radisson Edwardian has introduced QR codes on restaurant menus across 11 of its UK hotels. The codes provide diners with a shortcut to an online video showcasing the preparation of the dish of the month, hosted on the brand’s website and YouTube channel. It is believed that knowing how a dish looks before it is ordered will increase customer satisfaction.

However, the introduction of QR codes in non hotel-based restaurants has to date been a slow process, with restaurateurs showing relatively little interest in using this new technology as anything but an additional waiting-list device to increase daily covers.
