First Casa Latina Home Expo

Lifestyle media company Casa Latina, which provides content and programming for Hispanics in America, will host the first ever bilingual (English and Spanish) homeware tradeshow, Casa Latina Expo, in New York this November.

As America’s largest ethnic minority, 52 million Hispanic consumers account for over one trillion dollars in spending power, and are being targeted by brands, tailoring products and services specifically for them.

The aspiration of home ownership is very much a driver for the show, which will offer a holistic perspective on Hispanic homelife. The schedule includes talks by Latin designers, DIY demonstrations and financial literacy classes.

Latin tastemakers and experts present will include: Evette Rios, correspondent of ABC's cooking show The Chew; Martin Amado, former co-host of home show Decorando Contigoon on the Florida-based Spanish language network Galavision; and Ana Flores, co-founder of Spanglish Baby and Latina Bloggers Connect.
