Dedon Furniture Branches into Travel

German outdoor furniture brand Dedon has branched out into travel, launching its own hotel portfolio of tailor-made holidays with an outdoorsy feel.

Dedon Travel offers several exotic locations around the globe – from Cambodia to Alaska – encompassing unusual accommodation styles and inspiring adventure in outdoor activities. The star destination is Dedon Island, otherwise known as Siargao in the Philippines (pictured) – a beach paradise lying at the point of Siargao Reef, next to the legendary surfing spot Cloud Nine.

Dedon Island is more than just a hotel on an island, says company founder Bobby Dekeyser. “The first time we arrived on the island we knew straight away that we’d found our paradise,” he says. “Here we can do everything we always wanted to. We can test our outdoor furniture out in the open. We can grow our own healthy organic food. We can spend quality time with friends and create wonderful experiences under wide open skies.”

Dedon Island opens in March 2012.
