Studio Job & the Groninger Museum

The Netherlands’ Groninger Museum is displaying a collection of work by design duo Studio Job, collected by the museum over the past 10 years.

Works on show include important series such as Homework and Robber Baron, created between 2006-07 by former Eindhoven graduates Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel. The exhibition also shows projects with key collaborators such as Royal Tichelaar Makkum, Moooi, Swarovski, Bisazza and Venini.

The Groninger currently holds the biggest collection of Studio Job products. In 2001, it commissioned the studio to design a new reception area for the museum – the Job Lounge, highlighting the museum’s unique relationship with the designers. The exhibition runs until March 4 2012.
