Grown: Natural Australian Beauty

Combining scientific technology with non-manufactured, botanicals, Australian beauty brand Grown creates products inspired by traditional alchemy, using local, naturally derived ingredients.

Free from synthetics and parabens, Grown believes science is key to using natural ingredients to their best advantage and that the body and skin are more receptive and responsive to such products. Antioxidant-rich facial skincare, body and hair products are all part of Grown’s collection. The glass and non-toxic lined aluminium packaging is inspired by British 19th-century pharmaceutical and glass company Beatson Clark.

Launched in 2009, Grown’s whole philosophy revolves around being harmless to both the body and the environment. None of the products are tested on animals and the entire production process is based in Victoria, Australia, avoiding excessive transportation and subsequent damage to the environment.

Grown’s ethos and aesthetic reflects directions highlighted by Stylus from Cosmoprof 2012 in March. The fusion of science and nature continues to be a popular branding strategy for contemporary beauty brands.
