Publisher Textiles: Exterior Wallpaper

Publisher Textiles – one of the few hand screen-printing studios in Australia – has produced an exterior wallpaper that uses an environmentally friendly water-based ink, created by founding designer Mark Cawood.
Cawood’s extensive technical skills stem from a career that started with the late Australian wallpaper and textile designer Florence Broadhurst via an apprenticeship at Signature Prints – the Sydney design house that owns the license for her original designs. After a stint with Australian surfwear brand Billabong, Cawood returned to Signature Prints, going solo a few years later to set up Publisher Textiles.
Publisher Textiles custom designs and prints wallpaper for commercial interiors and textiles for local design houses including Zimmermann and Akira Isogawa. It also produces Cawood’s range of unique wallpapers, textiles, homewares and T-shirts.
