Colour in Space and Time

A major retrospective of Venezuelan Op artist Carlos Cruz-Diez’s work is currently on show at the Latin-American Art Museum of Buenos Aires. Titled Colour in Space and Time, the exhibition celebrates his extensive career, showing more than 120 artworks spanning eight decades.
Exploring colour theory, kinetics, engineering and composition, Cruz-Diez’s works often take the form of projected coloured light or immersive colour experiences. He is credited as a key artist in the establishing of the Venezuelan contemporary art world within the international community.
The exhibition runs until March 5 2012 and is supported by both the Cruz-Diez Foundation the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
