Henrik Vibskov, NY

Danish fashion designer Henrik Vibskov has launched his first store outside Scandinavia in New York’s SoHo with a playful, DIY approach to store styling that reflects the ethos of his vibrant collections.

With previous store locations in Copenhagen and Oslo, Vibskov’s third store features fixtures, fittings and visual merchandising props throughout the entire 850 sq ft space, which have been built entirely by Vibskov and his team.

Made largely from reclaimed Danish furniture and industrial materials, the overall look – anchored in pale wood accented with red and white details (to echo the Danish flag) – is Scandinavian to the core. Walls covered in criss-crossing sticks of wood make for inexpensive but visually effective VM flourishes.
