Milan 2013: Biological Marble by Victoria Wilmotte

At Milan Design Week, the Stylus team has discovered the work of Paris-based designer Victoria Wilmotte, showing at Nouvelle Vague Volume 2, an exhibition of new works by five emerging French designers.

Wilmotte’s Biological Marble table has a very interesting surface pattern from swirled black and white resin, creating an organic and lively effect. Many other designers and brands have also displayed work featuring innovative and experimental surface treatments.

Look out for more on this trend in the full Stylus coverage of Milan Design Week coming soon. Also follow #StylusMilan13 on Twitter and Instagram for live updates from the Stylus team in Milan.
