The French outpost of fashion magazine Vogue has launched a new online site aiming to create a more substantial presence for the magazine in the digital world. 

In an interview with UK newspaper The Guardian, French Vogue’s editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt said: “The new site comes at a time when it will fit in well with the growing digital world.” Alt added: “While there is an absolute need for Vogue to have a strong online presence, it is unrealistic to think that websites will one day replace print magazines.” 

Staying innovative and relevant in the digital world is now becoming a necessity, especially when it comes to fashion, where video links to catwalk shows and instantaneous image sharing drastically alter the ways in which we consume content.
