Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde join Revlon
The US cosmetics brand Revlon has added Hollywood actresses Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde to its ambassador roster.
The actresses will appear in advertising campaigns for the cosmetics company across various media platforms, including online, print, TV, in-store and digital, from early 2012, reported Women's Wear Daily yesterday.
Emma Stone is known for her roles in Easy A (2010) and Superbad (2007) and appears as one of the leads in the much-anticipated adaptation of Kathryn Stockett’s best-selling novel The Help, released on August 10 in the US and due for release in October in the UK.
After starring in the US teen-drama The O.C. in 2005, Olivia Wilde has since become a household name through her role as Thirteen in the American medical drama House and currently showing films The Change-Up (2011) and Cowboys and Aliens (2011).
The American actresses join the likes of Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Halle Berry, Elle Macpherson and Jessica Biel, who are already affiliated to the Revlon brand. The duo’s campaign will tie in with a new line of colour cosmetics and nail enamel products to be launched by Revlon. A Revlon spokesperson also confirmed they are committed to take part in Revlon’s charity endeavours.
