Louis Vuitton’s Cinematic Maison, Rome

Whispers surrounding French fashion house Louis Vuitton’s latest flagship Maison – due to open later this month in Rome – suggest that it will play up to its filmic location by being situated in a historic cinematic venue. It is also expected to include a series of movie-inspired elements.

Stylus can also reveal that while the luxury store will feature a screening room, the brand has also commissioned a documentary exploring “the craftsmen of Italian film” – the industry professionals who have built up the genre.

On top of this, the label has entered into a three-year partnership with local film school Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, as if to prove that the brand’s dalliance with film is likely to be no flash in the pan. Watch this space for more details later in the month.
