Brompton Bicycle launches Cycling Jacket

The London-based folding-bike company Brompton are launching a cycling jacket that aims to fuse style with functional practicality. Designed for commuters, the Brompton Oratory Jacket has been created to take cyclists from their “bike, to boardroom, to bar”.

Its tailored, blazer-style cut conceals detailing such as a storm collar, adjustable cuffs, reflective accents for visibility and armpit zips for ventilation.

Designed by Will Carleysmith, head of design at Brompton, the blazer is made from waterproof Epic cotton, which repels water, and has pull-out details such as a pull-out high-visibility patch at the back and discreet internal pockets for valuables.

The Brompton Oratory Jacket will be available from September 1, retailing at £250 ($412.66). The jacket will be stocked in the UK, Europe and Taiwan at cycling retailers including Evans cycles, Velorution and On Your Bike in the UK.
