Man Repeller Book

American fashion blogger Leandra Medine, the 23-year-old behind popular blog The Man Repeller, has penned her debut book. Man Repeller: Seeking Love. Finding Overalls is due to be released in September.

The tongue-in-cheek name Man Repeller refers to the effect some of Medine’s quirkier fashion choices have had on the opposite sex, and her new autobiographical book muses on the many awkward and humorous sartorial moments of her life. Recounting fashion hits and misses including encounters with shoulder pads, jumpsuits, turbans and white socks, the memoir highlights the relationship between memory, persona and clothes in Medine’s signature dead-pan, offbeat literary style.

Since launching The Man Repeller in 2010, Medine has been featured in Time magazine’s top 25 blogs in 2012 and is never afraid to write honest opinion pieces with regards to blogging, street style and other topical fashion issues.

Published by Grand Central Publishing, Man Repeller: Seeking Love. Finding Overalls is available to pre-order on Amazon now.
