Mulberry Takes Brilliant Britain to Asia

UK luxury brand Mulberry has taken its Brilliant Britain guide to Asia with an in-store exhibition and launch party at the label’s Harbour City store in Hong Kong yesterday. Brilliant Britain is a celebratory online campaign launched by Mulberry to champion the craftsmanship and traditions of Britain. The guide on its website includes an interactive map of the UK, with listings ranging from architecture and art, to food and fashion.

To launch the exhibition, craftsmen from Mulberry’s British factory were on hand at the Hong Kong store last night to demonstrate the skills involved in the making of a Mulberry bag to specially invited guests. The British theme continued with the menu, featuring English sparkling wine, vodka cocktails by English brand Chase, and a host of UK-sourced ingredients used for the canapés.

The Brilliant Britain exhibition in Hong Kong is part of the UK government’s Creativity is Great week, running from November 6-18 2012.
