House of Harlow Handbags

Reality TV star turned fashion designer Nicole Richie is adding handbags to her House of Harlow 1960 line. The collection of bags and clutches will tie in with the bohemian aesthetic of the label, which currently includes jewellery, shoes and sunglasses.

Richie launched the House of Harlow 1960 jewellery collection in 2008, drawing on her love of 1960s and 1970s bohemian design. The range is in addition to her clothing collection Winter Kate, which runs along the same boho style cues, featuring a romantic silhouette and pieces such as silk kimonos and seventies-style maxi dresses.

The new 40-piece handbag collection – which includes clutches, totes and holdalls – will also draw inspiration from vintage styles. The bags will be launched in the US in the autumn, and will be available in the UK from December. Stockists include Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Shopbop. House of Harlow 1960 jewellery is currently available from ASOS, My-Wardrobe.com and Urban Outfitters in the UK.
