All Ambiq by Patricia Urquiola

Due to exhibit at the forthcoming Glasstress exhibition at the Venice Biennale is an installation of glass vessels by Spanish-born designer Patricia Urquiola.

All Ambiq explores the contemporary application and interpretation of Murano glasswork, featuring hand-blown vessels with mutated forms resembling birds, coral and plant-life. Each of the whimsical vessels is intricate in design, featuring contrasting sharp colours and patterns.

The installation will be on display alongside work from other international designers and artists at Glasstress from June 4 to November 27 2011.
