Hermès Debut at Milan

As one of the most eagerly anticipated debuts at Milan in years, luxury brand Hermès’ first appearance at the furniture fair this week will coincide with the launch of its new furniture collection.

Designed by eminent Italian designers Enzo Mari and Antonio Citterio, the collection comprises a minimal home office and dining set called Metier and a console table, lounge chair, reading chair, sofa and daybed, as well as eight pieces originally designed by late designer Jean-Michel Frank in the 1920s.

Exhibiting in a space specially designed for the event by architects Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastine, the Hermès collection will be on show at the La Pelota in Via Palermo, Milan from April 12-17 2011.
