Contemporary Moroccan Tiles by Claesson Koivisto Rune

Swedish tile company Marrakesh Design has collaborated with Stockholm-based design studio Claesson Koivisto Rune to create contemporary tiles inspired by classic Arabic geometry.

Handmade in Marrakech, Morocco, the cement tiles combine a modern approach to an old artisanal production process. Designed in three patterns – Dandelion, Stone and Casa – the tiles can be laid in various ways to create further repetitive or non-repetitive pattern formations.

Stone (pictured) is three different square-shaped tiles available in 11 different colours – all of which can be mixed to create multiple layouts.
