Xperia Smart Tags

Japanese technology giant Sony has created a range of timesaving contactless tags to accompany its Xperia range of smartphones, launched at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January.

Each SmartTag contains an NFC (near field communication) token that triggers a customised task on the user’s NFC-enabled smartphone. For example, tapping a tag on your bedside table could turn off incoming calls and turn on your alarm.
