IHG Launches Wellness Brand


InterContinental Hotels Group has launched EVEN Hotels – a new hotel brand designed to meet the large and growing customer demand for healthier travel at a mid-market price point in the US.

The brand plans to provide solutions for all aspects of travellers’ wellness needs in terms of exercise, food, work and rest. Rooms will be designed for in-room workouts and will feature hypoallergenic linens, natural lighting and LED dimmers, while menus will offer fresh, energising dishes. 

The launch follows IHG’s recent trend analysis, which highlighted a growing consumer demand shift to a holistic wellness travel experience, and confirmed an unmet need among customers. According to IHG’s research, there are 17 million healthier-minded travellers who find it hard to stay active and eat healthily when they travel.
