Villiot-Rapée Embraces Green

French architecture firm Hamonic + Masson has completed a housing project titled Villiot-Rapée near to le Gare de Lyon, Paris, that aims to connect residents with the outdoors.

Each of the buildings incorporates an exposed terrace that winds around the exterior, encouraging residents to spend a period of time outdoors on a daily basis. The single-hued vibrant green colour scheme includes green transparent panels in the buildings’ railings, while segments of exterior walls have been painted in the hue – giving the structures a striking appearance among the surrounding architecture.
