New York-based entrepreneurs Aaron Liskov and Andrew Zahornacky have launched new start-up unPack, which provides travellers with a curated suitcase of clothes and toiletries at their chosen destination.
Aiming to streamline the travel process, users simply fill out a short online profile including questions about clothes size as well as fit and style, before unPack’s stylists assemble an individualised suitcase of items. Travellers can also assemble their own selection of clothes and toiletries available on the site. These include coat, scarves, sunglasses, workout gear, work wear and even mobile phone chargers.
The start-up has paired with international clothing brands such as Nike, Columbia Sportswear and men’s fashion brand Ministry of Supply to offer a quality-driven service. Once a suitcase has been selected or custom created, travellers inform unPack when and where they are travelling, and it will be delivered in advance of their arrival.
A slew of new apps and user-friendly services are enabling streamlined and fuss-free travel. See hotel-based rental services in Responsive Hotels, part of our Future of Service Industry Trend. See also Hyatt’s Storage Service.
