Atomic3: Éclats de Verre

Montreal design studio Atomic3 produced the colourful, site-specific installation Éclats de Verre as part of the city’s annual Créer l'hiver competition.

On show in Montreal’s Place Émilie-Gamelin, the installation combined coloured glass panels in an angular formation to divide the space, casting vivid hues onto the surrounding ground. This project is one of many to emerge recently that experiments with the effect of coloured light on physical space.

Éclats de Verre was on show between December 15 2011 and February 26 2012.
