Bound Wall Mirror by Grain Design

North American design collective Grain Design has created a wall-sized version of its Bound hand mirror, with edges wrapped in hemp twine.

Like its predecessor, the wall version is made from waterjet-cut salvaged mirror, but unlike the handheld model, it is backed in laser-cut bamboo and felt.

Grain Design’s new work will be showcased at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair 2011, which runs from May 14-17 in New York.
