Salon de Bricolage, Athens

Salon de Bricolage – reported to be Athens’ first ever members-only club – is helping to secure the city’s reputation as a key new destination for the young and stylish, in spite of the city’s recent financial unrest.

The brainchild of entrepreneurial brothers Spyros and Chrystanthos Panas – who already own the successful Island club and restaurant in the city – Salon de Bricolage has an atmosphere that the pair hope will help to usher in a new wave of creativity.

Located in a townhouse, the club’s friendly, cosy atmosphere has been created through an unusual fusion of domestic, industrial and plush furnishings, which splay out from a long, central communal dining table – ideal for nights engrossed in conversation.
