Lena Dunham’s Fashion Film for Rachel Antonoff

Lena Dunham, 2013’s girl in demand and creator of cult New-York-based show Girls, has created a short film for ready-to-wear designer Rachel Antonoff’s Autumn/Winter 2013-14 collection.

Released as part of Style.com’s Video Fashion Week, the short film follows a pair of friends living in New York with a tongue-in-cheek narration as to what defines the modern notion of best friends.

Starring Lena Dunham’s own sister Grace Dunham, who also featured in Lena’s independent film Tiny Furniture, the deadpan delivery and unglamorous breed of quirky are reflective of both the Rachel Antonoff brand and Girls. The second season finale of the show is set to air this Sunday in the US.
