T3's Frizz-Busting Hairdryers Simplify Styling

The latest beauty tool innovation by T3 tackles a pet peeve among consumers: the time-consuming process of taming their tresses. The brand’s new launch aims to target consumers with all hair types and offers a fuss-free approach to styling.

Los Angeles-based beauty tool brand T3 is tapping into the multifunctional tech trend by streamlining the hair-drying process. The brand has launched two tools – Cura and Cura Luxe – to offer users a salon-inspired experience. Both devices feature a built-in ion generator that creates frizz-free results, with the negative ions encouraging the hair cuticles to lie flat, resulting in smooth and shiny hair.

These hybrid beauty tools cater to consumer demand for time-saving solutions, with both devices simplifying an often lengthy styling routine via special features. Their wide airflow, for example, dries large sections of hair quickly, while a digital heat controller maintains a constant temperature for ideal drying conditions, without damaging the cuticle.

In addition, a unique selling point for the Cura Luxe is its emphasis on convenience. The auto pause sensor allows users to stop and style their hair without having to switch the device on and off or reselect the settings. A bouncy, relaxed look can also be created with the volume boost switch, which reverses the effects of the ion generator.

We predict consumers will demand more multifunctional devices from the market, to help simplify everyday routines. Approximately 18% of US personal-care users wish the process of getting ready was less time-consuming (Mintel, 2016).
