[dNASAb]: Dataklysmos - Multidimensional Sculptures

New York-based artist and digital researcher [dNASAb] presents his latest work at Irvine Contemporary, Washington DC, in an exhibition titled Dataklysmos.

Using plastic fibre optics, digital screens and media players, phosphorescent silicon, pigmented resin and steel, he creates futuristic sculptures that appear to be digital explosions.

Intending to deconstruct and question viewers’ perceptions of the post-digital and the materiality of the digital, the works combine a deep space aesthetic with luminescent digital colour. [dNASAb]’s work is on view at the Irvine Contemporary art gallery until June 4.
