Dunne and Raby

Design duo Dunne and Raby sought a design-based solution to the problem of future food supplies. Their Foragers project looks at evolutionary processes and molecular technologies as a means of people taking control. Inspired by the digestive systems of other mammals, birds, fish and insects, nutritional value is extracted from non-human foods using a combination of synthetic biology and new digestive devices.
