RCA Graduates: Georgina Strang, MA Textiles

London's Royal College of Art (RCA) has a well-deserved reputation for producing outstanding work, and the annual graduate show has become an essential stop to discover fresh design. Stylus visited the show this week and picked up on the work of MA Textile graduate Georgina Strang, whose canny colour sense impressed.

Strang’s research into colour coincidentally resulted in a perfect product, the RCA’s head of textiles, Clare Johnston, told Stylus. Her digitally printed silk scarves display graphic colour application; stripes overlaid with stripes and gradual ombre fade in a palette of whitened brights and pastels. See more inspirational use of these colourways in our Spring/Summer 2015 colour concept, Fade Out.

The RCA Graduate show runs from June 20-30 2013. For more on the event, read Stylus' RCA Editors' Highlights report.
