The Hoxton’s Hotel-Themed Campervans For Road-Trippers

The Hoxton

The interiors of each VW Vox Van is inspired by the décor of its hotel rooms and come complete with a double bed (plus child-friendly bunk), Hoxton-branded linen and towels, a coffee machine from South African coffee company Origin with freshly ground beans and a classic radio from UK brand Roberts, plus a stack of wine, beer and snacks to enjoy en route.

The vans also come complete with camping chairs, bikes, a curated playlist, a portable BBQ and a breakfast box with food to prepare for each day of the trip.

Guests can pick from four itineraries, including the Sussex coast in the UK, Normandy in France, rural Netherlands north of Amsterdam or California in the US. Guests are provided with a route and pre-booked campsites, as well as a suggested itinerary of the best beauty spots, beaches and restaurants to visit each day.

This offering is following in the wake of its sold-out 2020 glamping experience Camp Hox (read The Brief), with the UK road trips selling out with 24 hours of going on sale.

This is also a clever tactic for the city-based hotel during a time when consumers are staying away from crowded cities, keeping the hotel brand top-of-mind once city breaks return in the future.
