Royally Inspired

New York-based design studio Trove – run by designers Jee Levin and Randall Buck – has launched a new surface pattern design portraying past queens from Denmark, Japan, Romania, Greece, Italy and India. Titled August, the new design is part of the brand’s science-inspired spring 2012 collection. Using vintage photography, August explores themes of identity and collective memory.
