Tokujin’s Translucent Telephone

Stylus favourite Tokujin Yoshioka has designed a mobile phone with translucent casing for telecommunications company KDDI. Conceived through a process of “designing from the inside”, the inner workings of the phone are central to its aesthetic.

The design, available in three colour-ways, also features a radio, 8-megapixel camera, TV tuner and external scrolling LED display. The Tron-esque handset also comes with a solid crystal stand.
