Fohr Card Website Connects Brands to Bloggers

Launched in January 2013, new US-based website Fohr Card is aiming to become the go-to directory for fashion blogger information. The site provides stats and data for prominent bloggers – allowing others to see exactly what their level of penetration is. It also provides contact information, streamlining the process by which brands can connect with those individuals.

In order to discern a blogger’s ‘value’, the site collates a number of details on its featured bloggers, including their recent social media interactions, number of Tumblr, Instagram and Twitter followers and unique page views and visits. Fohr Card also updates press coverage of each blogger, and even provides information on companies the bloggers have worked with (or for) in the past.

Though Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram are presently the only social media sites being factored into the bloggers’ profiles, Fohr Card has plans to add stats from Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest in the near future.

The info doesn’t come cheap, however. Access currently requires an annual fee of $5,000 per user – an amount that can be broken down into monthly or quarterly payments. In addition to access to the site’s directory of more than 1,000 fashion bloggers, subscribers also receive monthly newsletters highlighting up-and-coming talent in the blogosphere.

While fashion is the current focus, Fohr Card may soon branch out to develop directories for bloggers in different industries, such as beauty and interior design.
