Urban Outfitters, Shoreditch

Taking advantage of Shoreditch’s fashionable, young demographic and acknowledging the East London neighbourhood’s increasing status as a shopping destination - especially in light of the five year pop-up mall to be opened there in August by Boxfresh creator Roger Wade - US fashion retailer Urban Outfitters has opened a 10,000 sq ft store in the area.

The open plan retail space is characterised by clean lines and raw wood fixtures lending a fresh Scandinavian feel that is in keeping with Urban Outfitters’ signature aesthetic.

For the launch last Friday, fans of the brand were invited to browse the latest collections while being treated to live performances from musicians Jai-Phoenix and Coco Sumner, reflecting the retailer’s desire to provide a “lifestyle-specific shopping experience” for its customers.
